Annual 5K & Fun Run

Lace up your running shoes for a great cause and enjoy some of the best views in Albemarle County as we run/walk for the children of Red Hill Elementary. The race will be run on Red Hill School Road and runners will have a chance to find out why the school is called “Red Hill”!

A new addition to the race this year!! Bring the whole family out for the 1 mile loop COLOR FUN RUN. A color run is a memorable way to promote physical activity and family fun!! It will feature color powder stations throughout a 1 mile (less hilly) loop, this loop can be completed at your own pace. Your white race shirt (included in the registration fee) will be a colorful masterpiece by the time your cross the finish line.

The 5K and 1 Mile color run (walkers and families in the back) will begin at 8:30 you will continue on the course if you are planning to complete the entire 3.1 miles. (You will have the option of avoiding the color blast stations if you chose to keep your shirt nice and white.)

Check in will be located at the Outdoor Performance Area. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. Free parking is available on the school grounds and will be directed by Cove Garden Ruritan Club. Children must be supervised at all times by an adult.
